Faithe-Built – President

Faithe-Built Architecture takes our mission of “spreading God’s word through the example we set by assisting others” and puts it into Action. Without the work of good deeds, the faith we have in our Mission is never realized. (James 2:17) Our faith goes beyond the talents, abilities, and gifts that God has given us to perform the task of design and architecture. Our faith is grounded in knowing that our work and outreach in our community expands our mission to go Beyond the clients and users of the buildings we help to create. Our faith inspires us to invest in those of our community, allowing us to make a lasting difference in the lives of those that we are unable to reach on our own.

What about the ‘E’

When Ben Foote first had the vision of Faithe-Built, he wanted to be able to use his gifts and talents to help others. First creating Foote-Built, Ben started working for several contractors as a consultant. During this time, he discovered that the vision of Foote-Built was much bigger than consulting for contractors, drafting buildings and shop drawings, and bigger than anything he thought possible. Ben was guided down the path of his purpose and the purpose of Foote-Built was born. Ben began to plan for Foote-Built to become what he had always dreamed, an architect firm of his own.

Along with the struggles of starting a business, Ben went through a great deal of personal struggles and growth. He realized that Foote-Built was meant to be bigger than him and that only through his Faith could God’s vision for the company be realized. In order to insure that Ben was not standing in the way of God’s purpose, he wanted the company name to reflect the mission as it is intended to be. Ben removed his name from the company and changed it to Faith-Built to demonstrate the Faith that Ben has in the mission and vision shown for him.

Shortly after changing Foote-Built to Faith-Built, it was suggested that the name Faith-Built be spelled with an ‘E’, like Foote, as a way to make the name stand out. After some serious thought and research into the spelling of both Foote and Faithe, Ben discovered that both are proper old English spellings. Further, he found that the spelling of F-A-I-T-H-E places more emphasis on Faith as an action, putting into action our Faith and moving forward on the vision that our Faith is founded.

Demonstrating our Faithe in action is the foundation for the mission of FAITHE-BUILT.
