The Rathbun Area YMCA in Centerville is an anchor for the community and a hub for youth activities in the area. They strive to provide more programs and integrate closely with other organizations in Centerville. The plans to provide an addition and remodel some of the existing space will allow them to recapture the entire original gymnasium space while providing classroom space for many activities and expanding their weight training and cardio training facilities. Adding on an administration area where the various directors can efficiently and effectively offer developing programs for the entire area will be the final missing piece to launching the Rathbun Area YMCA towards its goals.
